I also think this crazy leveling will be changed in the near future. MMOs are about keeping you paying to play. This current rate of xp can get a person in and out, having done everything the game has to offer, in under two months. Quite honestly, even two months is a generous time frame.

What ever happened to Yoshi's opinion about getting a single job to max level should take four months of play time?

Leveling is currently a joke and I hope they fix it sooner rather than later.

I really hope they nerf it. I really enjoy partying, but party XP is going way too quickly these days. I purposefully made it take me about a month to go from Archer 28-37. Then in a moment of weakness, I went in a full party doing the whole AoE thing and in like an hour I was suddenly Archer 42.

The party was fun. But the XP was too fast. I don't want to hit Archer 50, or I'll have nothing left to do as archer, for the most part. End game isn't really ready.

I expect an XP nerf in 1.2. I really hope it is sufficient to make the rest of my Archer last a while longer. (Or at least, the next few jobs I level)

Oops sry LMAO. 100,000 XP in 20 mins. I thought my number looked to big :P But yeah it was 100,000 XP in between 19 n 20 mins. Largest XP i saw was high 1800s. Anyway thx for that catch.

I believe i read somewhere that yoshi isnt going to change the current exp system due to the fact that having multi classes is a must for higher level content ( can be read in its entirety on zam's homepage )

ZAM: Many players think reaching level 50 should take longer, and they believe crafters take a hit because nobody needs low-level gear because of the ease of leveling up. Are there any plans to adjust the rate of experience gain?

Yoshida: We make adjustments regularly, but we have no plans of slowing down the leveling process. Under the armoury system, there are many instances where you have to use the abilities from multiple classes. Also, supporting low-level gear would involve adding more low-level content. However, as is the case with all MMOs, low-level content is completed very rapidly, so there will be many cases of players buying items from other players. We plan on increasing market usability in patch 1.20, so we expect buyers and sellers to match up better. Thus, we feel like this is not simply an issue of leveling.

Yeah it sure was some nice XP. We were in a stronghold killing wolfs. I was LV 47 or 48 when i timed that LV.
