    MCH Rook/Bishop (s)QoL Improvement

    :I feel like its not a rant but an Idea to improve MCH to make it more enjoyable.

    the Pet positional.
    A pet that is suppose to be stationary is the Bishop turrent, due to the fact it does circular DPS in the area.

    Now, here comes a nice adjustment or quality of life for us MCH's.
    Why can't the Rook Turrent follow us, hover around us or around the Boss/monster. Garuda can be set free and so can the fairy, why not the Rook.When the monster/boss pushes Garuda back or Fairy, they come back to us.
    I cannot speak for the other MCH out there, however this is how "I" feel,and I really do enjoy the job alot.
    Plenty of the bosses push the Pet out of the range of a single target attack and lowers MCH damage.

    I would like to see a small improvement for Rook Turrent, Bishop is Fine.
    Rook Turrent is our main Damage (in my opinion).

    anyone else has an opinion about this? speak out;
    (remember to have fun!)

    My suggestion would have Turret Retrieval make it so that the turret has no cooldown and can be deployed again instantly, instead of the 10 second cooldown it normally has. It would give some purpose to a skill that's otherwise quite useless, since there are very few occasions where you want to manually retrieve your turret.

    I definitely wouldn't be opposed to a 'follow' mode on turrets though.

    Would be nice if MCHs can glamour their turrets since Scholar and Summoner are getting glamours for egis. Allagan nodes anyone?

    To me the turrets are designed to not be like pets. They are placed somewhere and are automatic in a sense, there is little maintenance since there's no skills for it to cast aside from being promoted or not, and placing them costs no resources at all aside from the cooldown. The trade off is just as you said, the turrets do no follow the owner and will need to be re-placed more often. Being a Scholar main I love the difference between the turrets and the fairies, since there's a lot less risk with the turret due to the expendable nature of the turrets. I haven't hit 60 with MCH yet so I can't understand the nuance in endgame content, but for now I can say the 10 second cooldown feels negligible if you can plan ahead in regards to the placement. So all in all, I don't believe you should see the turrets as pets, but instead another ability you need to kind of think preemptively with.
