That is defiantly not how the circles in WoD work. You either need an even or odd number of players in the circle to prevent all effects. The killing people with a moving circle is admittedly fun though.

Elusive jump is very useful after you get the hang of it, more notably the distance it covers.
Sheds half your hate so in long fights its more effective at this the longer you go before using it.
Its good for gap closers as it moves you at sprint speed without the tp loss, my suggested use is recovering to a mobs you had to run out of an aoe from, using it to dodge out of them is not advised unless you are really really good at it for the above mentioned movement calculation. Or chain it with spineshatter/dfd and you have the largest gap closer combo in the game.

I'm not sure if elusive works the same way, but repelling shot for bard spits you back into the arena if you the wall.

It moves you faster yes. It has saved my rear end countless times already when an telegraph would appear just as I start my Jump animation. So if you're really skilled (or fearless lol) it can indeed be used for more uptime on a boss

accidentally popped it at the start of a fight in ST and it shot me out the gate and it sealed behind me so was stuck outside the arena the entire fight ....yeah my friends had a good laugh, but besides these funny moments its a pretty neat tool, like i said i wish the recast was shorter

I can see people saying its a gap closer and I respect that (I fully agree that it is one of its uses) however, wont that contradict its name? I mean its suppose to be elusive, its suppose to make you "harder to catch" no? If the client register you in your original spot until landing and eating an AoE because of it, well...thats not very elusive of you now is it

Also, I agree with the reduced timer or maybe same CD but with a tweaked mechanic - maybe when it does go with its animation, the client tracks where you are in the air to the landing point, this way it stays true to its meaning

Elusive Jump also removes bind and heavy, so the name will still be applicable.

Considering "Jump" is goon for "rooted to the ground", "flee into danger" sounds about right.

Mid fight you shouldn't be able to catch up with the tank's aggro lead from their opener and occasional use of enmity combo even in dps stance, so it's kinda useless randomly using it.
Undergeared tanks in DF, yank aggro on opener, save spineshatter, elusive and return. Of course, often they then lose aggro again, but meh.

I don't trust my latency enough to use elusive to run from bosses at the last possible moment.. usually I just use it to return to the boss, or rarely, to hop out to an add.
