Petition for a /read emote

Adding onto your post - one thing I would love to see in this game is afk animations when you are near furniture such as the reading the books example above. Or if you are near the stove you would cook something etc.

I've always wanted a /read emote too, hopefully one that also works while you sit on a chair. (Since we're at it, I wouldn't mind an /eat emote that works in the same way).

Oh yes, that’s a great idea ! I’d love to see my character patiently reading without the need to be AFK on SMN or SCH lol

I was just wondering just a bit ago, but I was in my private chambers just hanging out when I started thinking, "There's a bookcase not 2 feet from me, why can't I read any of those damn books!" and it suddenly struck me that there is no /read emote (or if there is, I've never seen it and I'm dumb).

So I would like to semi-formally ask to implement an emote where, if you're sitting or standing within a certain distance of a bookshelf or any other books you should be able to /read in order to pick it up and look at it in order to look smart. And of course, if you're an arcanist/scholar/summoner you could always use this emote (or, in order to be cheap on the devs part, give everyone the scholar idle animation).

Bonus points if your character flips through the pages every now and then.

This has probably been requested before, but I think it needs more attention.
