Rising event music

I'm glad I don't have to hear it again. I absolutely and deeply love the original version of this (which played on the whole overworld just before Dalamud crashed down),
but it's been weirdly sped up for The Rising and therefore feels like those songs you can find on youtube that want to avoid copyright claims and are just a bit sped up, not enough to REALLY notice, but it feels off anyway and destroys it all ._.

This year's Prelude fits very nicely with the decorations and mood they were going for this year.

I was also glad to not hear that version of Answers (I have Before the Fall as well, and always skip over that track when it comes up). Past two years I would only spend time in the even locations long enough to do the quests. Yeah, I'm not a 1.x player, so that meaning isn't mine (though, I bet if I did play then, I would still hate it now)

Yet, I'm the one who keeps throwing Answers up in the FC house (and I'll sit and listen to it there every so often). For some odd reason, it always seems to be changed the next day (often with Pa-paya...)

Speaking of music scroll, it'd be pretty funny if they sold the exclusive music scrolls like "Heavensward" and "moonflaire" in mogstation next year.

Personally i'm glad they used a classic sounding version of the FF Crystal theme. The original XIV version is a little too elaborate.

It's not being dramatic. It's being honest. That music is the Rising. Without it, the event shouldn't exist. The event is plenty "changed up" by the fact that it has completely different content each year. What makes these events with different content qualify as being the same event is their one unifying element, that theme music. A theme which this year is missing, so yes, that's broken.

Doesn't help that the event is pretty much a reenactment of the 'End of an Era.' Answers (Reprise) or Answers itself would have been perfect for it.

Answers on a puppet show? Would be tough to take that seriously, especially in the endings where you botch your parts.

Not during the show, just in the area. If the event was about something else (more dev stuff), then the Crystal theme would work perfectly. However, since this is a reenactment event, having Answers Reprise play in the area would work better.

Doesn't the play use From the Ashes? That's a different mix of Answers, but it's still Answes nonetheless, no? And you could argue it's more appropriate to use this version given the link between End of an Era and T12.
