How do you deal with burn out...

I've been playing since Phase 3 of the Beta on PS3, then migrated to PS4. While I haven't done "Everything"... I've done a fair bit, but now... I feel burnt out with XIV. Logging in just to do dailies... and if there's anything my FC wants to do (which isn't often as it's a social FC). I have enjoyed the game but now, while I don't want to quit... I am struggling to find anything to do. I honestly feel burnt out and I'm just curious how others deal with the situation as well.

Real simple I've taken several breaks from the game. The last one was over half a year. I'm doing the same thing with other games as well.

Just take a break. You've been around long enough to know that it doesn't take long to catch up to content. Just keep an ear open for events since you wouldn't want to miss out any emotes or glamours.

As others said, take a break. I have been on a break since April as there is absolutely nothing interesting for me at the moment and the DF/grouping force is just killing the game for me. I log every once in a while but that's about it. Hoping to have enough incentive to play again with 3.4 (looking at you, Platoons....don't disappoint me)

Agreeing with the above. Take a break. If you're not enjoying and forcing yourself to play you could very well grow to hate it. And I'm right there with you, today was the first time I logged in in over week and it was only to do the event.

Dailies are probably causing you to burn out

I just came back from a 6-7 month break and I'm having a blast!

I don't get burnout because there is so much variety in how I play.

pve, pvp, craft, gather, big fishing, gold saucer, house decorating, helping friends and socialising.

if one type of activity starts getting old, I switch my focus to another.

this way, no amount of years can burn me out.

This. You could try something you've never done or make an alt on a different server. You may be surprised how exciting it is to mix things up.
