I'm a returning player who played during AAR's launch. My first character was on Goblin, but only because irl friends were rolling there. After they left and life got in the way of me playing, I've had an on and off again relationship with XIV unfortunately. This game has always been on my mind and my absolute favorite mmo of all time, bar none.

My question is, where are all the people on this server? Going by the guestimate census data, this server should be decently populated, even if it isn't in the top 5. But I feel like I rarely see other players, and no one talks in any of the general chats whatsoever. Maybe they are all in Heavensward content and don't come back to any of the 3 main cities? Maybe everyone only chats in FC and linkshells?

Can anyone help me understand what's going on?
