    So let me get this straight, they let players auto-attack from any angle now and are removing any mechanics that are related to the direction in which the player is facing?

    Does that mean I can directly stare into an enemy's gaze attack if I have sheathed my weapon?

    No, you'd still be hit. Our weapons have become our secondary eyes.
