Let's put it this way. How do you know the statue is crafted like shite unless you buy it? Again, the focal point of this isn't the emote. I've bought figurines from Japan and they are expensive. What makes you think this would have been less expensive? If you want to buy this for the emote then I'm sorry to say but it isn't worth it. The animation is flashy, sure.... but none of that matters.

I can relate to the OP, though for a different reason.

I play FFXIV. My husband plays FFXIV. We both want the emote. We both feel one statue shared between the two of us is more than enough. We both feel it's rather wasteful to buy two statues to get the emote for both of us. Money isn't an issue. Hoping to find a collector of Final Fantasy items that doesn't actually play XIV that would be willing to sell the code.

They'll probably charge you nearly as much as the statue due to how limited the codes will be

Lol, I guess all the people shocked by the price don't understand the costs it takes to make a mold to inject the plastic into for these statuettes to be made, ><. 70-140$ is a very typical price point for anything made out of vinyl or plastic at a decent scale. Just be happy it's not hand painted, cold cast resin, that'd run it up to the 350-500$ range in a heartbeat.

Honestly, the only things I care about collecting are the soundtracks and certain mounts, minions and emotes that have to do with things I feel particularly attached to. Unfortunately, the Zantetsuken emote is one of those things. It'll be the only Odin thing I won't have, simply because I started the game maybe three months ago. I realize nobody cares, and I'm sorry for posting on such an old thread, but I really do hope that the Zantetsuken emote comes back on the MogStation or something else like that.
