Palace of the dead: an interesting possibility in allowing players to test new skills

Was thinking today; because of how PotD works SE could take advantage of this to test out new skills or possible changes to skills by implementing those in PotD only at first.

And for sure when we hit a new level cap it'll be interesting to test out the new lv 70 balance on the first day by just grinding it out in that self-contained content. I'm sure lots of people will be interested in testing out new jobs that way first as well before investing the "normal" amount of levelling time into them.

The second we get new jobs or an increased level cap, you'll have everyone flying to PotD for exactly that reason.

But it probably won't end up helping test, that's what internal/external beta is for. No point getting normal players all worked up over stuff that's going to be tweaked and replaced so often.
