We're ALL in Eorzea, regardless of where on Earth we are. We all have Christmas, Spring, Autumn, Summer events at the same time in-game based upon Japan, so there's no reason to disregard seasonal trees just because they don't match the Southern Hemisphere.

If that is your argument then, regardless of when the holidays fall, the seasons in Eorzea never change drastically enough to see different weather; the leaves never fall in the Twelveswood, there is never any snow outside of Coerthas, etc. So if we go by strictly Eorzean seasons, we wouldn't need dynamic trees at all. And, with the exception of the Moonfire Faire, all of the holidays we see in-game are tied directly to RL holidays, not the seasons the holidays fall on. Christmas, Easter, New Years, Halloween, all happen in the Southern Hemisphere at the same time as Japan.
This is a silly thing to argue about though, we both want dynamic trees. I just think players should get to choose between dynamic and static. Since when is having more options a bad thing?

Cant wait to see these in other peoples gardens since i'll never be able to get a house![]()
Are people trying to dump their stock of the eastern cherry trees cause of the new trees coming? I see people selling them on balmung (starting to see them in PF) down to 3 million which I believe is lot lower then what they have been selling for.

Most likely less because of the new trees and more because SE finally started selling old event furniture in the Mog Station, which means everyone expects the Cherry Tree to become available in the Cash Shop in about 6 months at most.
At that point the price will plummet a lot because buying from other players won't be the only option to obtain them anymore, so..players trying to get the money while they are still worth something.

I'm not
Everything on the mogstation is untradeable. They've never released any items on the mogstation that are tradeable, which includes the Cherry trees. After people started selling the wedding bands SE expressed their annoyance at that and they've since never released anything else that was untradeable so I don't really see this being any different.
Also previous event items were released one year later, this one was not. Maybe they'll do it one day, but it doesn't fit any of their previous patterns.
They have added the Dream Attire to the Mogstation but altered the name and made it untradable, but you can still buy the tradable version off the market board. If they add the Cherry Tree to the Mogstation they will likely give it the same treatment.

So? I never said the one from the Mogstation are gonna be sold. I said the tree is gonna be available through a different option other than buying from other players.
I know literally no one who'd rather pay 20 mio ingame than 2-3 dollar in rl for a tree
So to get people to actually still buy them ingame instead of the mogstation the sellers would need to lower the prices so much that people would rather pay Gil than real money.
That's because there IS no pattern yet. Housing event items were never sold before this summer. They only started doing this THIS SUMMER. And those items are from 2014, so from 2 years ago.

OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY! I always loved cherry trees, but autumn is my favorite season. ;w; I'm gonna flood my outdoor with these.
