    UI "display all"

The customizable UI is awesome. It's one of the better convenience features I've seen in a game like this.

The problem I've been running into is all the hidden extras that are circumstantial. Especially since 1.19 sort of reshuffled everything.

For example, the "EXP Chain" graphic pops up where my party list is and blocks the top three members on the list.

The raid timer position reset and now pops up ontop of my minimap. There's not really time to mess with UI items while in a raid.

It'd be nice to see some sort of "display all" feature, whether in game or in FFXIV config" to allow us to properly arrange or UI with these circumstantial items in mind that way we don't have to distract ourselves from gameplay to try and catch these things.

You mean, to have a "display all" option to bring up all existing U.I. windows, even those that aren't active (and hence hidden) at the moment, so that we can arrange and lock their positions in desirable spots before they actually pop up later?

If yes, I totally support this.

I would also love to be able to assign positions for stuff like the mid-screen NPC dialogue box and inventory/equipment windows.

Yup, exactly what I was getting at.

The HUB is like a pilots cockpit with all the instruments and navigation tools he/she needs to fly and arrive at the destination.

I'm more supportive of the less need for such instruments... saying, "if I don't need it or want it, why can't I just hide it?"

What ever is in the configuration, it's a good idea to have a "short-hand" approach to setting, locking or hiding these widgets.

This is equivilent to macintosh/ window gadgets and extras so I agree there should be a short-cut to this simple function. We don't have the time to make correction during runs/ equivalentraids/ battles.
