    Wilting Flowerpots

So I finally tried using the flowerpots and grew some roses. They look really great just in the Oasis Flowerpot I grew them in. I have a vase full of the rainbow oldroses, but they seem so small compared to the one still growing. Is there a way to convert the flowerpot and the plant inside into a permanent housing item (aka one that doesn't wilt)? If not...could there be a way SE plz?

Sidenote: shoutout to the housing combo thread for the awesome ideas like the mirrored dressing table!

Non-wilting crops and flowers would be really nice

I'd love to be able to keep the rose bushes in the condition they're in at full growth. I'd also like to have the ability to grow crops indoors & outdoors as plants - unable to be harvested for items but able to remain as unwilting decorations. Some of the plants have beautiful models & it's annoying that they can only be seen for a few hours.

Suggestion for persistent plants in flowerpots

(I was going to post my own suggestion thread on this, so I'm glad I searched!)

Especially now that we have the beautiful new cherry blossom trees, it seems a shame that the designer's hard work can only be appreciated for a few days before the plant withers. (Even the apple and orange trees, or the exotic-looking shard plants, are worthy of appreciation in my opinion -- so this could possibly apply to all plants.)

My suggestion is for an option that can be chosen for fully-grown plants in flowerpots that would:
    • Make the plant unharvestable (it can only be removed)
    • Remove the "ready for harvest" sparkle animation
    • Allow the plant to persist indefinitely, as long as it is tended daily
    • ...and possibly also fertilized on some schedule? (Daily, weekly?)

This way we can appreciate the devs' wonderful work for much longer!

I, too, would like to option to let a potted be more of a decoration than an actual harvestable. :3

I just started growing flowers in pots and immediately thought of this. I love how the cherry blossom looks in the pot, but not as much in a vase. I know FFXI had an option to preserve the flowers at a certain stage for decoration and I'd love to see that idea implemented here.

Totally agreeing there should be a way to "freeze" the growing flowers/cherry tree at any state of growth, either using a specific item on it, or just by adding a new gardening option. Wa had that back in FF XI if I remember well, so it should be possible
On a side note, what furnishing did you use as a mirror in your combo ? like the design a lot !

I'd support being able to 'freeze' the plants at any stage, including dead. The roses and cherries look lovely in the pots and being able to keep them as houseplants would be a great addition, I'd love that for my own house.

I specifically included 'dead' because if you are going for a darker or haunted house type theme, dead plants really add to the atmosphere. It would be nice to be able to put the wilted blossoms in vases too, as suggested here: Dead Old Roses
