I like it. But I main a tank and mostly it's a nice bonus.

I miss the last expert roulette. Antitower was my favorite dungeon. Ampa hard was fun for it's massive pulls and the burst heals required for it, in order to keep up that healer dps lifestyle. . :[

I dislike that it's named EXPERT roulette, since you don't have to be an expert at all to be able to queue for it.

My only problem with it is that it's restricted to 2 dungeons now. At the least, I feel like it should include the four most recent dungeons, rather than just the two newest ones. That way, there'd be some variety at least.
I also wouldn't really have a problem with Expert and L60 simply being combined, though. The main thing that gets me about Expert is just how repetitive it is. I actually enjoy L60 and L50 Roulettes because I get dungeons I haven't seen in awhile often enough that it's refreshing.

Well objectives are limitless I was giving a bare bones example. "Find the hidden Cait Sith in the level for 15 lore" might be another.Haven't run it since POTD came out. It provides all the lores I need and then some.
That wouldn't happen, because that would just bring out everyone's inner elitist and give people even more incentive to to kick DPS that are only at the dungeon's level requirement, or healers who don't do DPS, etc etc...
I think it's alright but I wish we had a "Challenge Roulette" where based on how fast you clear you get ranked and have a bonus lore, crafting items or even in the future items, and you can choose if mobs get stronger or debuffs n stuff like PoTD because 2 dungeons to me is I either get A dungeon yes good! or B dungeon uh meh whatever. I do like running them and testing out DPS abilities and spicing it up or heal knowing what I can get away with as a DPS i'll know for other encounters.
All in all it's not bad just wish we had more variety as it seems SE nerfs dungeons ilvls into the ground after a patch cycle or 2 when the gear difference isn't enough to warrant any issues, Aether Chemical Research Facility yes I can see that being ilvl 180 but some of the others that we just got no I don't like it that much.

I don't like it, because it's something I feel I have to do as opposed to something I want to do.
This is an extension of the tomestone problem itself - it's a repetitive and stale progression mechanic.
I mostly play WAR and SCH, so I never have issues with queuetimes, but still - I have no interest in running <insert dungeon here> for the fiftieth time, and calling it "Expert Roulette" hints at some actual skill being required, which is laughable.
I'd like it more if it were a roulette instead of a coin toss.

Expert Roulette sucks. I started playing WoW again recently and their dungeons are so much better it's not even funny. Experts are always tuned way, way too low, and it makes them boring. I've only done each dungeon once since 3.3 because it's just not worth how boring they are.
It's called Expert Roulette so why are all the dungeons made for beginners? I'm not asking for ball busting difficulty, but it's stupid that we can still pull entire zones (up until the locked gate, that is) and AOE them down. Also it's stupid that a paladin can solo heal bosses while tanking.

Thing is, I was having roulettes that fell apart in Sohr Khai because people simply couldn't handle the boss encounters. Constant wipes due to people either not understanding the mechanics, or DPS so low that we ran out of platforms to jump to against the last boss... you name it.Expert Roulette sucks. I don't want dailies to become a freakin chore just to complete. Things can't be tuned too high, or that's what they end up becoming. I nearly quit because of that because getting weekly tomes felt like the only real way I could advance my character since extreme/savage stuff is too hardcore for me and the new weekly raid was absolutely uncompletable for the first few weeks, and I felt like I couldn't even reasonably do that anymore.
Thing is, I guarantee you that if they made the trash packs difficult enough that you couldn't pull them all together like that, people would then bitch instead about how the trash takes too much time because you can't just AoE it all down. It's called Expert Roulette so why are all the dungeons made for beginners? I'm not asking for ball busting difficulty, but it's stupid that we can still pull entire zones (up until the locked gate, that is) and AOE them down.
The reason it's like that is so that people have an option. Higher leveled groups that can handle it can drag everything together to burn it all down and progress faster.
Also, "Expert" is simply a way of saying "the currently highest item level required dungeons"; it's not meant to be a reference to skill level.
