    Can the KO animation get an update?

    It seems hokey as heck that the same passing out animation is used on every race and in cut scenes when specific characters die. Why can't we have character fall face first or something else? Even NPCs that die in cut scenes should get some different flavor of death animation instead of recycling just the only one that is used by the players.

    Like a long 1 min bloodcurtling scream, anime blood splash out the entire front of the body, stagger and try to stand on one knee, then land on both, then look like bowing on knees and an "urgh!" as we fall to the floor?

    At the very least make it so that the death/ incapacitated pose is different for each races. Kinda like these:



    Though I think some of them are used as the new doze poses now

    It's hilarious when the whole raid wipes and I see everyone die at the same time, all in the same pose.

    Feels like we're professional synchronized swimmers.

    Well raids ARE synchronized jump rope/swimming after all! You can't break from the team!

    Well.. let's see here. All races and genders share the same battle animations, share the same battle poses, share the same weapon stances and attack animations. And here we asking for different KO/death animation. Heck that one game that was released over 14 years ago and shares the same name just different order of number had the audacity to give each race and gender different poses and battle animations. Even different KO/death animation.

    Well anyways, they're not suppose to copy from that game... ignore this.


    PS3 limitations..?

    I will admit when I first started playing this game I was shocked and somewhat disappointed that each race didn't have their own battle stances and attack animations...something as someone pointed out, FFXI had 14 years ago. I liked how my Elvaan held his Katana and shot his bow sideways...explains why he had such poor acc.
