updated op, keep em coming.![]()
/sigh, /yawn, /pout, /highfive (with the option to ask targetted player to receive a highfive) lol
dude those emotes u posted are from WoW. u want those kinds of emotes then go play WoW foo!!!!
Ok so today i decided to get creative and use macro's to fill the void for emotes...
Wrath Emote
/em threatens everyone with the wrath of doom.
/furious motion
Hug Emote
/em hugs <t>.
/welcome motion
Bite emote
/em looks around for someone to bite.
/lookout motion
These are just some of the few I've done so far, Having a lot of fun with them i plan to make a few more.![]()
I've added more synonyms and emotes to the OP:
/hug /cuddle, /cheer /praise, /tease /taunt, /congratulate /congrats /grats, /plead, /strong /flex, /roar, /thank /ty, /lol /haha, /cry /weep, /smirk, /hmph /snub, /sorry, /whine, /farewell /bye, /greet /hello /hi, /purr, /pounce, /stare /peer.
Another thing I've noticed that bugs me about emotes. When I do a targeted emote my character looks away, does the emote then looks back. It's a small detail but it still bugs me.
I agree about adding some fun emotes but what I feel that really needs to be done are the Elezen animations. Alot of the emotes seem half-hearted (/dance) and while some just look awful (/pose)
I think almost all the emotes are done without much "heart" or care, Many of the Lala and Miqo'te emotes are quite good but quite a lot of the emotes for the other races are a bit sad. I think they need to redo almost all of them and put some emotion in the emotes, after all i think that's what an emote is. Putting emotion into your characters actions.^^
