Emotes are a lot of fun in FFXIV... I'd love to see more, including some of the ones that didn't make it from XI.

For when words can't express what your feeling an emote can suffice.^^ Sometimes I really can't be bothered explaining that I'm not happy with something and /angry works a treat. Or when I'm really happy with someone I can type /joy. Having a larger list just helps with the creativity and the fun we can experience.

I love the idea of class specific emotes, XI had them and /jobemote blm was so awesome.
Ah! As a botanist, I love the idea of a /bouquet emote!
Did anyone ever play The Sims Online lol? They had some interesting emote choices. The majority of actions in that game required approval from the other player which I think could easily be implemented. You go into /hug someone and if they approve the reaction is a hug, if they disapprove the action is some sort of refusal whether a shove or another gesture. It was a pretty neat concept, not saying SE would ever do it, but it would offer a whole new dynamic to emotes.

I wish they'd change the emote's text when you /rally someone.
I'm not trying to comfort you, I'm trying to rally !

/charge!!!!

It would be nice if you can target a player using /hug or /kiss or something and it asks the targeted player if they'd like to accept the emote action. lol
It could be a whole other thing they could start, like /dance with a target asks if they want to dance with you, etc. lol Maybe even /carry or something, if you want to pick up another character.

i would like a fully functioning /slap emote. cmon, everyone has been there, when someone says or does something that deserves a good /slap, lol
