Yes, 240 weapon will be easy to get, however 240 gear will be obsolete VERY soon. Remember: the final segment of Alex is also being released as well as the new stage of anima in 2.40 or 2.45. Lore is the equivalent of Soldiery tomes in 2.x. A new tome will be released soon which will be the "final" tomestone of 4.0 and will be what Poetics was at 2.x. 2.x had 4 tomes (Philosophy/Mythology/Soldiery/Poetics), and 3.x will have 4 as well (Law, Esoterics, Lore, ???). The augmented lore gear is i240, but the new lore gear will likely be 245 or 250, and then 255/260 after being 'enhanced/augmented' (likely a drop from AS12 and 1 weekly from doing Void Ark weekly similar to how we had CT weekly for the encrypted tomestone).

Midas gear is not that great, in the grand scheme of things, it will be obsolete very soon (think of SCoB gear, which was i110 and then was obsolete with poetics gear which was 120/130). There will likely also be a 10 token item to get the new lore weapon, similar to soldier/poetics/lore weapons that required 1000 of tomes to get. So to answer your comment, yet i240 weapon will be easy to get with the new gobdip, but hardcore players will be getting a 250-260 weapon from AS12 or final 'Zeta' version of the anima. The i240 augmented lore weapon will be the equivalent of the i110 weapons from 2.x. The new tome weapons released soon will be the equivalent to ironworks weapons with poetics and when upgraded will be 5 ilvl below AS12 (equivalent of dreadwyrm) and anima 'zeta'.
