Calibrated Rose Gold Cog - Is NQ even possible without cross-class skills?

Good afternoon, everyone. Thanks so much for the feedback, honestly.

I was GSM 50 when doing the synths. I have the level 50 GSM gear, and it is melded, although not perfectly, I'm sure. I left that part out. I haven't bought HW yet, so I am capped at 50. I initially wondered if doing this was even possible at my level.

As far as craftsmanship, I was slightly over the min to attempt the synth. I needed to eat control food just to hit that minimum level.

I had steady hand 2, hasty touch (which I didn't even attempt), and rumination (which wasn't usable).

I had no other cross class skills (although I am working on getting every other craft to at least 15 for now).

In other words...I was able to attempt the craft, but just barely. I knew I was going to be hard pressed to be successful, but I was surprised at how far I was.

I just got ingenuity one last night...not sure if it will help a ton, but it'll be there.

I am also close to ARM 15 for rapid synthesis...which I would imagine would be an enormous help (assuming I don't get a lot of fails).

Sorry I don't have more info at the moment (at work). Maybe that paints a clearer picture for now. And I appreciate everyone's help, as previously mentioned. Have fun, all. ^^
