Veteran Rewards going to 1200 and 1320 days

While I appreciate this being a reward for longtime players, it is a bit disheartening newer ones basically have no hope of getting these cosplay outfits (assuming it will be that again).

The point of those items isnt that they take long to get... its the dev's way of saying "Hey, thanks that you're enjoying and supporting this game for so long already, here, have a present!" - it feels as if you're looking at this as something you can achieve, while thats not really the case - its a present, a reward, for supporting the game a certain amount of time.

Makes me kinda think of Momo by Michael Ende and the old sweeper Beppo: "If you look at the whole street you'll think 'I can never do that!' and then you start to hurry and get stressed. Thats not how you do it. Dont think of the whole street, just think of the next sweep, the next step, the next breath and before you know you'll have cleaned the whole street."

Aye. In retrospect, you're probably right because I know I wouldn't use most of those pieces. I was conflating the two, which wouldn't apply here. Maybe I am getting too caught up on achievement hunting lately lol.

Sure they can, they just have to sub as long as you have! On the bright side, unlike the legacy stuff at least they can someday get these rewards right?

Here we go again. New players this and new players that! If they don't play because they have to wait for a VETERAN(key word here folks) reward then they don't deserve to play at all.

Seriously? The veteran rewards are *LOYALTY* rewards. Ther are for players who remain loyal and subscribe for a significant number of days, they are exclusive to those players, if you want them, subscribe for that length of time. If SE were to make these things easily obtainable by new players, they destroy the value of the entire veteran reward program.

Honestly, what is the problem here? These items are clearly designed to reward long term subscribers and encourage continued subscription.

I am disappointed that they did not bother to create something new for the 1320 day reward.

Because I express a small bit of disappointment I likely won't ever have these items because of the vast amount of time needed to stay subbed, we can't have nice things? Alright.

The "problem" is staying subbed that length of time amounts to over three years. They aren't easily obtainable. And I'm not saying they should be. Just expressing I don't necessarily like more content added behind that massive a wall with no alternative means. But then again, I'm not a fan of exclusive content. Certainly won't lose sleep over it though.

Im all for opinions but it seems lately all anyone can talk about is new players like they are fragile little things that won't every get by. Seriously its getting old and annoying. You can say my complaining about a jump potion is a first world problem but from the amount of voices in that thread more are against than for it so yea such a first world problem that is!
