Unable to access forums or World Transfer Service.

A friend has been trying to world transfer from Shiva to Hyperion, however every time it comes up with "You have purchased optional items that have yet to be claimed" and "This character has a name change pending". He has no knowledge of any of these purchases, and has not purchased a name change, yet is still unable to world transfer.
As an added bonus, he has been unable to connect to the forums to report it either.

This happened to me while transfering my alt from Faerie to Balmung. As in the exact same reason as your friend got.

Have your friend keep trying to "receive reward" from the moogle. It turned out my Bennu and Behemoth horns weren't received because my inbox is full. He might have a mog station item/veteran item there.
