Servers are Lagging

Or at least the Aether Data Center is. Every time you do something in game it takes a few seconds to register. Sometimes it takes a whole minute. And sometimes you just disconnect.

I thought it was just me at first, but everyone in my guild on Midgardsormr is having the same issue. And when I switched to my character on Gilgamesh, I got the same results. My internet works fine, Skype works fine, my wifi works fine. Me and my friends over Skype are just having problems with this game.

It's a real pain too. I died during a Levequest because I just lagged out, and I don't have the leve allowance to try it again. And then I tried doing the cliffhanger fate at the Golden Saucer. Oh man, that was like the hardest thing I've ever done, invisible bombs would just be exploding everywhere.

There's a lot of recent complaints on Primal too, though I am experiencing none of it myself.

Same here in Jenova. I'm surprised I made it out of a dungeon with no one dying.

Rubberbanding and stopping receiving as well. Quite impossible to play. Only on FFXIV.

Exodus suddenly started having issues around the same time also. Like the OP said, I tried everything on my end but still getting stoppages and delays. Many people affected but not everyone apparently?

I think that if servers were lagging right at the core, it would affect everyone.
As long as lags affect only some portion of players (even if it could be 30% of them) the problem is on the route between the server and players.

I am not saying it is you guys, but we had same problem a few days ago and it was problem on the route to Frankfurt, not SE's fault.

May be some issues with Level 3 again, for some of us. Boyfriend was having severe packet loss earlier, but it's stabled out again - myself, I've been having random lag periods around 9:30-10pm, nothing so bad as to make the game unplayable, but bad enough for stuff like PotD when one of your dps is content to wander off on his own and drag 5 mobs back with him >>

The people on my LS were asked what isp they had. All of the ones that were lagging said Comcast. Safe to say there's a good chance they're the issue.

Time Warner customer, Aether data center, and the last three days have been pretty bad for me. A lot of lag spikes and rubber banding, especially in instanced content. Hell, half of a DF A2 group I was in earlier were teleporting all over the arena, complaining of their own lag.
