A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

That's because we are lazy which is really bad. Why is using the search bar so difficult for some people. Then people complain about the devs not taken are ideas on board. Who has time to go through all these threads in the English forum i know i would get tired and find something better do.To add one more thing to this, you can actually see the number of threads and posts in a given forum from the forum top page.
The Japanese General Discussion forum has 107,404 posts in 2,598 threads (~41 posts per thread). The English General Discussion forum has, by contrast, has 984,691 posts in 36,177 threads (~27 posts per thread).
So the post/thread ratio on the Japanese forum is about a third higher, but much more significant is that there are almost fourteen times as many total threads and over nine times as many total posts in the English forum.
Being raid leader shouldn't mean forcing yourself to stay. Should pass reins and do something you enjoy.Yes, The answer is yes. The reason you are looking for is a simple one. I gave my word to my raid team that I would lead to the end of alex and I do not intend to break that promise. When you lead a raid group, your happiness is secondary to the needs of the team. Sure there are limits, and mine is a12s, but I would not hang my 3-year old raid team out to dry because I think this game is garbage.
I will be returning to lurker status any day now. I will be neck deep in legion and out of these forums for a bit.

Wait, so they're entitled not to do anything just because their customers aren't doing their (the developers') job? Something's not right. That's because we are lazy which is really bad. Why is using the search bar so difficult for some people. Then people complain about the devs not taken are ideas on board. Who has time to go through all these threads in the English forum i know i would get tired and find something better do.
If I told my customers I don't want to hear them because they haven't read what I'm supposed to explain to them, they would've fired me right away.
We as a playerbase could and should be more organized, yes, but the "I don't listen to you because you're not tidy" sounds a lot like what a mom would tell to their kids, and not what a businessman would ever think to say to their customers.
Stop excusing them, this is why THEY have been lazy with the content quality, because people keep coming up with excuses for them. I still remember the period between 3.0 and 3.1, that was laughable. Oh, the memories.

How about you stop talking about a team you know nothing about? Take your unsolicited advice elsewhere.
You simply don't just pass over the reins. If I had left when I wanted to, the group would have unraveled like a poorly knitted sweater. If I was such a selfish person like you suggest, I probably would not be leading a 3-year old static to begin with. When you support a team for three years, you don't just hand off the lead without making sure that you have a suitable replacement. I have a great co-leader and she will take up the leadership when I go. This was not an overnight process and she had to learn just like I am still learning how to lead statics after doing it for 5+ years.
When you lead a team for this long, it becomes a very special sentimental creature, one that I want to see flourish after I am gone.
