Housing Ideas / Suggestions !

So i thought i make a thread about housing ideas & suggestions.
Feel free to add any ideas you have yourself.

And please try have an open mind about this,
dont just come in here & bash ideas with no reason.

The main reason i want housing is not just because its cool,
but rather for the almost endless possibilities it can offer
for almost all craft / gathering classes.

Interior design option. (Possibly exterior too)
- The option to select from interior/exterior designs.

Furnitures. (some useable)
- Crafters should be able to craft furnitures, on all classes.
For example chairs, tables, fish-tanks etc by Carpenter.

Fish-tank "Example" recipe:
2x logs + 2x Distilled water, 1x Glass Cover, 2-3x Fishes.
Now thats just an example.

Furnitures such as chairs, beds etc should be useable to sit on for example.
So if i invite someone to my house we could sit around the table.

Decorations / Features:

* Optional "Fireplace", option to place anywhere in the house.
* Paintings - (could use ingame screenshot option to make a painting & hang on wall)
* Rugs - No house should be without one.
* Cupboards - For storage & looks.
* Fish-tank / Aquarium - Where you can put some fishes you caught while fishing.
* House pet - Now...i want a tiny coblyn pet. (instead of a house-cat) ^^
* House window - Now in FFXI there was nothing outside the window.
- Id like to see sun coming up & go down from the house window, anything really.
* Treasure Chests - To keep my "Bling Bling" in.
* A real "Mirror", that shows mine or anyones reflection thats in the house.
* Candles. (not just a candle, a lit-candle!)
* Flowers. (various flowers & plants ofcorse)
* Christmas Tree !
* Wall decorations - Maybe some wooden / cloth banners.
* Weapon / Shield Racks - To store / show off my weapons.
* Armor mannequin - a "Show off" doll.
* Crystal formation - A decoration that glows with reflections.

Garden Options / Features:
* Option to plant a very "Slow Growing" tree.
(Could increase in size / height according to your playtime, - Personally i would like a pine tree.)

* Vineyard?
* Vines clamming to my house?
* Stone path leading up / around house. (option to place & select design)
* A water-well made in stone just outside the house.
* A small pond maybe?
* A few flower-pots should be outside to plant flowers in.
* Wodden bench underneath the house window to sit on.
* Butterflies, birds etc flying around outside.

Finally...
- Since i played FFXI pretty much before this...
im not sure id like a Moogle as my house-keeper this time.
(if he did abit more than just swirling around then maybe)

I want the return of tents in the field! Perhaps logging out in a tent can do things like exp bonus upon logging back in.

I think it would be cool to be able to hang old weapons on the walls or any equipment for that matter. It would be neat to see all my old staff I used on my walls.

I think anything that engages the crafting professions would be good...the more stuff added the better.
Woodworkers for furniture and accents inside
Botany for gardening
Mining could do some sort of crystal/shard cultivation.
Blacksmithing for stoves.
Small ponds for fishing/fish raising.

The possibilities are nearly endless. I would love to see an open ended system that could be easily added onto for new items/features.

This MMORPG was a project started along time ago before the release which turned out not to be liked by everyone but the cause was for the discouragement an automatic system= lack of work for rewards and progress. It's ART imitating LIFE as this game suppose to be more realistic than FFXI(11). Nothing handed to you on a plate, separating casual from real RPGing enthusiast.

MY POINT! Bring me tents, bring me cottages, let crafters create them! "Whooohooo!", the possibilities are endless and with that, it's possible to create a home point of your own. Items that serve some real good without being expendable (just repairable).

Cool idea huh!? ^o^
