I can usually complete the recipe but if I want to HQ its an unstable nightmare.
So is it safe to say no mob drops Fleece? And only way I am going HQ these is if i rack up marks for training that will mean nothing soon enough. /sigh

This is what amuses me about crafting atm. In XI it was goldsmith that was the toughest to level, but since mining is the way it is it's pretty easy. When you look at every craft Cooking/Alchemy have fishing, Carpenter has Botanist, Weaver "kind" has botanist but only through the secondary tool now which can make it a tad tougher and you have gold/armorer/blacksmith with Miner. Then you have leathworker, yea there aren't any gathering concepts that allow one to collect skins or fur for use of crafting so that basically comes down to mass murdering a group of mobs for the item or buying it off the MW. IMO I feel that leatherworking is the most expensive craft to level because of it's lack of gathering parallel.
It would be nice if they added something later on though while in Yoshida's last comment he mentioned how gatherer's gather, fighters can gather to because they can obtain loot that gatherers can't such as bomb ash, and fur/skins for leathworkers. Maybe as things advance there will be changes to certain loot pools and while I'm not saying that no materials loots should drop with fighting classes I do hope they at least consider implementing a gathering class to compliment the leathworkers lack of assistance in that field.
I heard rumors of a shepherd DOL class once. Can't recall where I heard this.
FNC = Fencer
ENF = Enforcer
MSK = Musketeer
MYS = Mystic
ACN = Archanist
HRV = Harvester (Might be old Botanist name)
SHP = Shepherd
They could just be placeholder names for disciplines they had ideas for though I do recall that there were actually abilities for the arcanist class which would be the 3rd DoM. Never know though they could surprise us with some new classes soon enough, or we might have to wait til 2.0 for it, though it would kind of surprise me since they seem to be doing a bulk of the class adjustments this VU I imagine that afterwards they would be able to expand the DoM and maybe even the DoL list.
Though to go off on another tangent. I think it would be neat if DoL were more like "advanced classes" where you needed one basic DoL at rank 50 before you could dive into the next tier of gathering lol. Not like it has to be mining/logging/fishing kinda thing they could be unique and have something like a land discipline that can discover holes in space and investigate it to find unique relics and items that can be synthed into unique items lol.
