Max Level crafter/gatherer equipment?

Hi.
I just have some questions regarding end game equipment.

For my gatherers, I have ilvel 180 equipment that you can buy with blue scrips.
Would that be enough for all gathering contents?
What can I do more with higher ilevel equipment?
Or what would be the minimum gathering and perception?

For my crafters, I am planning to craft ironwork set
as higher craftmanship/control would help crafting high level HQ items.
Is there any good alternatives?
For materia, what should I focus more?
craftmanship? control? CP?
Is there a need to penta meld the equipment?

Play around with that website to see how you want to meld your gear. Some pieces have caps that you can reach using only one T5 Materia. Others have caps that you can reach overmelding one T5 Materia. And a few have caps that are not attainable through current Materia. Max out the stuff that you can with only one T5. Come as close to maxing out as you can without overmelding on the stuff that you could max with one overmeld.

Don't meld anything (except maybe CP) to those pieces that you cannot cap no matter what you do.

That said - CP is your life's blood as a crafter. Maxing that should be your primary goal. Then maxing out Craftsmanship and Control. But, play around with that site. Maxing CP is important, but CP may not be the best Materia for the 1st slot.
