^ This, it makes me crazy that if I was to actually receive a weapon drop and I didn't want it I could trade it to someone who does. These should be rare drops and I would rather have low drop rate and be able to give drops to a party member than a high drop rate where people are dropping weapons they don't want.
There is the issue of the lamp, I wouldn't even mind if they didn't let you give an item to someone who came without getting a lamp first.
