    Lockout + Loot System

    I may get scorned for saying this but I think there should be some sort of lock out system implemented on Ifrit. (The number of times you can attempt Ifrit a week.) That or the loot system should change.

    I personally have not killed Ifrit but the LS I am in has. Many times in fact and the problem now is that I always see them constantly comparing the fact about being 0/20 and what not with others. Or simply the fact that they are getting items they don't want and wish to exchange with another person in their group who also is in the same boat.

    Everyday I see them online doing nothing but Ifrit again and again only to come out with nothing but frustration. I tell them perhaps its time to take a break since everyone seems like they are going into rage mode but people just continue on because there's no block from stopping them from doing it non stop. I don't know, I think it's not healthy and wonder if they will rage quit at some point in time. xD

    Maybe it's just me.

    Well, we could do it five times yesterday evening (it was my first time for me!) and got wiped out the five times. I'm glad we could try again very shortly after our wipe, that way our mind was still focused on the battle and we could immediately try to correct our errors with a new strategy. By the end of the fifth end, we almost had him.

    I'm just glad we can do it over and over quickly like that, especially since casual gamers don't get a lot of time to play and even less time to put it all up for Iffrit fights if they'd have to do it all the time.

    Also, the fight is really fun, I understand people for doing it over and over again, haha!

    LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
    And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.

    Ifrit loot has the worst mechanics EVER! I swear i never saw anything even close of having such stupid mechanics...i wonder if this time they copyed this from an offline game...at least would explain a lot! lol

    Thank goodness they said they will be fixing it by the time 1.20 becomes live.







    ...or not >_< Maybe it would be fun for them to see ppl doing all this again for evil moogle weapons!

    I do see the drop rate being an issue honestly out of like 10 runs a night we get 2-3 items normally. So 2-3 of the best weapons in the game every 3-4hrs I do not see how anyone can complain about that.

    The issue is the lot system. For instance last run I got 2 Ifrit's Blades back to back... which I had one from the week before already. So 2 items to the ground. Another person got Claw with a rank 2 job... wasted item. And someone got ifrit's Cane who had it. So basically 4 items out of 6 runs that night (really good drop rate) but all those items where basically trashed.

    That there is the issue with ifrit. They need to make it like every other mmo, A choice between a Roll system and leader distribution. Random drop system = complete utter fail for endgame where it is guild based more or less. Fix the drop issue so you can distribute items = whole ifrit issue solved (outside the latency issues)

    here is the most easy fix for the issue and it is already in game, allow the item to drop into the loot list so it can be traded.

    ^ This, it makes me crazy that if I was to actually receive a weapon drop and I didn't want it I could trade it to someone who does. These should be rare drops and I would rather have low drop rate and be able to give drops to a party member than a high drop rate where people are dropping weapons they don't want.

    There is the issue of the lamp, I wouldn't even mind if they didn't let you give an item to someone who came without getting a lamp first.
