forum skin change?

i dont know about everyone else but to be honest the cream coloured background on the forum kind of makes it look a bit too plain, i always use the wow forums and they seem to be more vibrant, have more colour and life to them wondering if any updates could happen?

Well, to be fair the cream, chocolate and beige colour styling of the forum is a holdover from the original iteration of the Lodestone from FFXIV version 1.0, which this forum was also a part of. The original 1.0 Lodestone (which has since been shutdown) had a more 'old-fashioned' style to it, in keeping with Eorzea's 'neo-medieval/'Era-of-Exploration' setting in 1.0 and it's interface style.

With the changeover to ARR and a new Lodestone though, the forum remained intact so it kind of inherited the old 1.0 theme by default. Whether SE will change it to something more closely resembling the sleek ultramodern smartphone styling of the current Lodestone though is anyone's guess..

i understand, i my opinion they should have updated it when ARR came out .
