Yes please, this topic continues to be an issue, Parry is shoved down the throat of Tanks, and feels about as useful as a chocolate tea pot, which is why no one stacks it any more. I'd like to see the Parry stat have a mechanic associated with it that is approximately as useful as the additional damage that comes from stacking crit and determination. Something defensive that is spedific to tanks that provides a viable alternative to simply stacking for max damage.
The problem with making parry do an extra hit or w/e is that itll still be worthless to any tank not currently tanking. Which in most boss fights is like 50% of all tanks. Idk how they can make it do something that gives a constant boost to dps which would be more valuable than crit/det/sks so maybe they will just up its defensive properties and ppl will still avoid it like the bad stat plague that it is.
Here are a few suggestions for what each stat of parry could actually give - more threat gen, lower incoming crit chance, lower overall damage received, incease amount of healing received or lower cooldown recast. Prob should rename it to something else while they at it lol

sure, people will still avoid it because who needs defense? xD
Unless they decide to change how the tanking works in this game, Parry in any form is never going to be valuable stat unless they boost it to ridiculous amounts.
Easy fix would be just to remove it till they actually want to make stats more complex.
Honestly they should just make crit = parry and have a 1:1 ratio for the stat not the % that way double dipping would make it beneficial and wouldn't be a wasted stat in the end and it'd solve problems with tanks being more DPS orientated as that's a form of active mitigation while DPSing/Mting/Oting.

WoW did it right. You completely deflect the attack - which is technically what parrying is - and not take 80% of the damage. That's just armor absorption. Maybe do what WoW does with their "Quick Reflexes" passive, where whenever you parry an attack, you counterattack for some-odd amount of damage? Can't really think of much else though.

So reduce damage and auto attack for each parry.
