    .:::More Combat Less Cosmetic:::.

After 2 years in I'm still enjoying myself in this game either by crafting raiding or running dungeons. But I think this game needs to focus more in more relevant stuff like bigger selection of dungeons or raid content stuff rather than cosmetic stuff like housing or glam stuff.

For example the mobs around the world are totally useless. There's nothing good about then apart from doing fates. I would love to see everyone around the world doing stuff rather than just doing hunts or doing fates.

For example , killing certain amount of mobs to obtain special Materials for crafting. Or if anyone got better ideas will be more than welcome.

More dungeons as well. I think this game is adding a lot of housing stuff and Glamour that is completely irrelevant to the game but just for the sake of having/doing to do...

It's very hard to suggest something in a MMO cause we have reached the cap of lvl60 and ilvl so we cannot move forward until further patches but I would love to see this game being more Combat based than just running around and getting stuff that is not really useful for the insane content.

Maybe having competition around who runs certain dungeons faster for bigger rewards I don't know.

Anyway just a thought any ideas to make the world more active will be great.

The game does have a habit of having fluff > substance. The anti-tower, and dungeon design in general, is a prime example of this, the dungeon was 90% platforms with background spectacle and it was actually really boring to me (despite looking nice), and if you took away the background it would have nothing going for it, in fact most dungeons are like that, just less obvious.

I'd be happy with only 2 dungeons if either of the dungeons did something interesting (I don't mean deep dungeon interesting, I mean more than a level design that a toddler could do), a shift in that mentality would help other areas too.

I think that the person in charge of creating more cosmetic and housing things isn't the same as the person in charge of creating more battle content, so more cosmetic doesn't interfere. And do you know that a vast majority of players in this game are only playing for these cosmetic reasons ? What isn't relevant for you might be for others. I myself enjoy both combat and cosmetic aspects of the game and I would be disappointed if they decided to reduce the amount of new cosmetics they add to the game as much as I've been disappointed when I saw that they're only gonna release 2 new expert dungeons per patch since 3.0 instead of the 3 we had before. They shouldn't sacrifice a part of the game for another, they should just hire more people to work on each domain, because they're a really small team of developpers right now.

The Devs have to keep in mind that once the veteran players are out the game is over and its reputation goes downhill.

It's always difficult to nail down a specific focus as players have a wide variety of likes and dislikes.
For example, I'm not a fan of the Yo-Kai crossover event, but others love it and good for them :-)

The ideal is to have as wide a content variety as possible, catering to all. But of course it's always a matter of resource and time.

It's a fairly standard mmo, in the fact that there's progression raids/dungeons that need to be repeated for item drops. Additionally there's a range of crafting skills to progress.

If people aren't into progression grinds, then they look for other things. Events, side content (e.g. PotD) alts etc.

Aside from that, it's down to the development team, sometimes inspired by player suggestions, to come up with additional content.

I love glamours and what people call 'fluff'. It's a major part of my enjoyment in the game.

However, I do agree there could be more substance in the game. A lot more. To me, it's about balance. A good MMO should have both interesting content and beautiful aesthetics.

I would still love more customisation, more races to play, and more glamours; but I'd also love more interaction in dungeons and the open world.

I support the thread, as long as the devs continue to cater to those who enjoy the cosmetic aspect of the game.

I don't care about raiding but love glamour and so called "fluff" content. Love collecting outfits for my character and change her look weekly. It is what keeps me playing, farming for glamour items and I always look forward to the next new items.

I would not mind them adding more content stuff for those who want that as long as it does not take away from the glamour side of the game.

Everyone has their own tastes and what they find fun about the came, if it was more serious I would most likely quit playing myself.

They are asking for more content in general rather than a long list of glamour and minions and a couple of gimmicky pieces of content (all while actual raids and dungeons become stale and less innovative). In the trailers I have noticed that more and more of it is dedicated to new glamour, new hairstyles, new emotes, and that could eventually become an issue.

Glamour fluff use to not be a major part of the game. That's just a new fad. There was once a time when glamours didn't exist at all.

There should be a team working on things like armor and a seperate team on content. I don't think it affects content/gameplay production when cosmetics are made (or at least, that's how it should be.)
