If someone withdraws from a duty finder, everyone's spot in the line resets.

I was queuing for Syrcus Tower today, and we had everyone needed and the duty ready box popped up after about 30 mins. Someone withdrew, and then it popped up again. This happened again more times.

After the 3rd time, the ready duty ready didn't pop up immediately, and it looks like its totally restarted. I had to wait 40 more minutes, for a total of about 70 minutes to get into Syrcus Tower. When I finally got in, I asked if anyone else had to wait 70 minutes, and most people said no.

I'm assuming that after someone withdrew, the queue just ejects everyone from the line and starts from scratch, and i wasn't picked even though I was waiting for 30 minutes already. Is this something that is going to be changed or fixed?

It's completely unacceptable to be kicked out of a queue for no good reason.

The problem mostly occurs I think when you "lose" a premade party on the other end be it cause they are fed up, regrouping or got a lockout. The 3 strike rule was back then implemented to reduce the 24 man troll queue (and it really has).

We tried on sunday getting a friend a clear of ST but the game was against it. Randomly it DCd ppl and we never made it past 20min wait... Even in a full premade the que wouldn't wanna pop :/

I think it drops everyone back in the queue at the highest priority (so, in the front of the queue, rather than the back), but if it can match a group at that moment rather than wait more, it'll pop, and can leave you out.

For example, 2 full premades, 4 solo DPS, 3 solo healers (one of which is you), and one group of tank/healer/dps queue up. It pops, then another group queues, with 1 tank and 2 healers. Now the group with 3 players withdraw.

In this case, you can get it to instantly repop for 24 players, but there won't be a place for a solo healer with that match, meaning you'll get left out and then you can wait a long time for it to pop again. It is however better than not having it pop for anyone at all.
