Looking to change classes, what do you suggest?

Tired of playing GLD... they are broken to me since 1.19 so i'm looking for something new.

What do YOU play and why? What do you like about that class? And plz don't give me that "it's a personal choice go and try everything..." Just want to know what you guys choose to play and why.

I know they are suddenly the latest fashion but I always enjoyed LNC. It was my first job and still my main. I have had a lot of fun levelling PGL though. I know it's probably the least popular of the dd classes for parties but it's tremendous fun. You won't kill things as quickly but you'll find it a fun challenge. The evasion is really good, watching the mobs miss a good two out of three times and you can even finish the odd fight completely unscathed.

ive been playing mage allot, i have 50 thm and 47 con. cant go wrong with having both of them. im also lving mrd since my mrd can wear all my glad gear.

Just be like most people and have everything level 50, then play whatever is the most effective for the current content. $_$

I took Lancer to 50, really enjoy it. I was DRG in XI, so I continued that through to XIV. If played as designed, Lancer is a very strategy intense class - requiring you to move around the battle field lining up enemies for the big damage attacks, landing weapon-based enfeebles, etc.

I'm now working on Marauder, which is the complete opposite of Lancer as far as strategy goes, but it's still enjoyable. Standing in the middle of the chaos, cleaving through enemies left and right.

I've been doing Lancer since its the closest to Samurai I can find. Pugilist is also ridiculously fun to play.

I'm looking forward to Black Mage once they make the spells sounds/look better.

Playing on my gladiator lately has been horrible, so I have abandoned it for pugilist. As far as DoW goes (tried all but lancer), I find it the most fun. I like the gear and the animations, and the idea of a quick, graceful fighter that is also quite durable.

I enjoy playing casters the most, but SE is still mucking about with the mage classes so unless you want to go all-out and level up both I wouldn't currently recommend them with any enthusiasm.

I play LNC (and not because its the class of the month) I enjoy playing it and always have done, I'm not the person that plays a class because you cant do the latest content without it.

To the topic at hand, try the classes out and find one you enjoy, atm there isnt that much differance between the DoW, but jobs should change that.
