Except for this to be true you would need to have a matchmaking system in League that would match a Challenger and four bronzes against 5 Diamond players and consider that 'balanced'.

have you stopped to think that maybe just maybe majority of the players who do queue up happens to not really give a to.Ot about it in the first place.... most are just there for the marks so they can get some PVP glamour...

Were numbers invented or discovered? How many Moogles does it take to make Kuponut rum? Answer: zero... They will give you a quest to make it.

We do not even have to stop to think about it... it's apparent that this is the case however those doing this should use frontlines if they would like PvP glamour.

Or since no one does light party, nor takes it seriously they could easily get some friends together and do premade 4v4. There ARE alternative sources besides ruining matches for those who have fought tooth and nail to maintain their rating.

But you forget one very improtant thing: There is no price at the end of the FF PvP season. So why are people getting mad? Only because they have inexperienced players? Or is it because they don't get a big E-Pe... because of them?
Instead of getting mad, people should help the people with lower exp in there, to get better players instead of getting mad about them, but thats sadly the PvP in every game.

PvP in FF is just for the fun, gear is useless and there are no prices if you have the biggest one. So help the people in your team and win as a team and have fun with it!

Firstly, there are rewards for ranked PvP in FFxiv. The top 100 players get an exclusive gear set. There are also challenge titles for silver rank and up, as well as identifying accessories for your rank as well as a seasonal trophy for making it to the top. The fact that these rewards are not monetary or useful in any way makes no difference.

Trophies in real-life sporting events are, essentially, useless. They just sit on shelves and collect dust. That doesn't change the fact that people want and strive for them when they compete. It's part of a competitive spirit to strive for victory. That desire is the part of competitions that competitive people typically enjoy, hence why they compete in the first place. If a person doesn't share that spirit of competition, then they should be playing something else (Front Lines, for example} rather than blaming competitive people for taking a competition seriously. That's kind of the point, after all. There doesn't even have to be rewards. As long as there is a top, a bottom, and ranks in the middle, then that's all you really need. The top ranked player could get nothing more than bragging rights, and they would still be in the right for taking the competition seriously.

Secondly, we have been asking - in fact, we've been practically begging - SE for an adequate means of training new players on how to PvP. There simply isn't one, at the moment. The dialogue entries for PvP are a joke and do next to nothing to prepare new players for an arena experience. There is no mandatory introductory tutorial or quest for PvP. There is no practice or training mode. The mentor system does not function for PvP (save for giving you "mentor" status ... which is useless). There's no progression system for explaining unlocks, PvP abilities, Ability Points, Gear Sets ... etc.

In short, we do not have the tools to help new people in PvP, and the 1 minute you have at the start of a match is not nearly enough to explain their role. Some of the abysmal dps numbers I've seen in some matches wouldn't even be acceptable in the easiest of PvE trials. How would you expect a seasoned player to "help" that person in the heat of a match? The answer is, they can't. Even if they know that job backwards and forwards, it's not possible. By the time a player that inept has joined the match, it's already too late.

This is why a lot of us are excited for the Dueling Deck. It actually gives us a way to teach interested players certain things and give them an idea of what to expect before they get into the match. Quite frankly, even that is not enough, but at least it's better than nothing, which is what we have now.
