    Don't do that. Go as DPS, the 24 mans are backwards when it comes to queue time.

    go as melee since it prioritizes melee first in matchmaking. I get instant pops almost every time I do in progress as mnk or nin and its always at ozma lol. But Se really should allow for undersized CT arc queues. The only mechanic I can think of that might prove problematic for an 8 man is atomos in both Lota and WoD since it requires the raid to spilt into 3 parties but I think it can be over-come.
