Suggestions for practical uses for beastman currency

I know a lot of us have a slight hope that would have been used for some sort of relic weapon, but that probably isn't happening with Jobs and 2.0 coming (too much is going to change), but why not think of some practical uses and hope that someone pays attention to this thread?

My first idea is to exchange them for keys in the strongholds. Chests have 3 tiers and currency has 3 tiers. Why not exchange 100 Ixali Willowknots for a Bronze Key? Maybe 60 Mapleknots for Steel and 40 Ebonknots for a Gold. Reaching the chests is still a challenge and carrying only one a time would force you to run the gauntlet, still forcing you to make some effort.

Makes me feel like some kind of bandit. Killing beastmen who are staying by their strongholds or camps for their coin and topknotts. Someday maybe, these beastmen will want them back *brushes the top topknott in the meantime*

I just hate having this lingering suspicion that they will be used someday for something and i will kick myself in the ass if i sold them again. (Beastmen Seals from FFXI.) It makes it hard to vendor them.

id like to have a hat that id have to wear to trick the beastmen into thinking i was a beastmen, then i could go into a beastmen village and walk as one of them and spend the currency in their stores.

Well they are probably more related to the beastcoins in FFXI. As in, not for BCNMs.
You had beastmen seals, and then beastcoins.
Which were used for various things, like opening doors, or crafting. IE Gold Beastcoins into Gold Ingots.

They are probably not for a BCNM, but if they did add a faction reputation system it would make sense. Or synthesis.
