Is there any plans to open up dying of gear a bit more?

currently dying gear will add a stat, which in one way is very cool ^^ but what that does is limit color choices so much, too much imo.

i am happy with the introduction of the new dyes, simple, basic, and easy to use recipies have been a huge improvement se!

sadly though i was hoping that we could finally match our gear, but we cant ;;. plate seems to have some nice matching sets(but end game color choices are still very few), but leather is horrid.

my poor pug has a blue harness a black subligar, light beige colored bracers, dark brown belt , black hat and the most beautiful red jackboots!

what i wanted was a raptorskin harness and subligar to be red ^^ and have all the bits match as well. dyes imo should be cosmetic only.

the introduction of such nice dyes has become more limiting then before if stats are the only reason to use em.
and we are "pushed" into colors simply to boost stats.that seems a step backwards and that defeats the main reason ppl want to color their gear (pretty safe to think that)

i say remove the stat bonuses and open freely the coloring of gear.
materia is for stats (or should be the only way at present).

orrrrr have an npc we can go see that will recolor gear for simple vanity purposes and a fee of course ...something....anything really would be nice.
