Macro wait times and echo are not in sync.

    I use the following macro.

    /macroicon "Internal Release"
    /ac "Internal Release" <wait.1>
    /ac "Blood for Blood" <wait.80>
/echo Internal Release and Blood for Blood READY! <se.10>

As far as I can tell, this echo should appear as soon as Blood for Blood is ready, because it has an 80 second recast.
When the echo appears, I recast the macro.

However, the echo often appears before B4B is ready.
Why is this and how can I fix it?

I use no other echo macro or wait macro in conjunction with this one. This is the only one.

(I also do use Internal Release and B4B separately when necessary, but for most situations, having 1 macro suffices for me.)

OK lets preface this, what you are doing is terrible for DPS and I hope you are aware that Macros don't queue skills thus inducing a massive gap between ur GCDs.

now that disclaimer is out of the way,
The Macro wait is strictly not in line with the oGCD cooldown especially over longer periods of time (i.e. it tends to "drift" depending on latency), you have to manually tune the recast timer with an offset to bring it in line with the BfB CD. From my personal testing of ur macro, the Echo is 23 seconds ahead of schedule. Which tells me you might be running in to the limit of the macro wait (i.e. 60 seconds tops).

Wait has a limit of 60 seconds. You can't have it wait 80

I don't agree with using macros for skills but here it is fixed

    /macroicon "Internal Release"
    /ac "Internal Release" <wait.1>
    /ac "Blood for Blood" <wait.60>
    <wait.20>
/echo Internal Release and Blood for Blood READY! <se.10>

I don't understand what you mean by "Macros don't queue skills".

I am aware it is not optimal for DPS. That's why when I am doing an important fight, I don't use this macro.
(As I said, I do use the skills separately when necessary.)
I use it when I am soloing, especially in FATEs. And when I am fighting a single enemy that I can kill before the recast timer is up.

I am still leveling Ninja and trying to just make it easier to do FATEs and whatnot.

I didn't know that. Thank you.

The way skill queue works is before the server has confirmed you have activated a buff i.e. ur game packet has done a round trip from ur PC to the Server and back and you see it as a status effect, you can pre-load the next skill by spamming the button. That way, the command for the next skill, in this case, BfB after IR has been sent to the server before the confirmation that IR has been activated returns.
This is essential for double weaving your skills in between GCDs (or even precasting before initiating GCDs) because you eliminate much of the delay for activating 2 oGCDs back to back. Macros however, don't queue skills so this means it waits for the confirmation from the server before initiating the next skill, not only that, macros enforce a minimum delay between skills which means you effectively waste 1-1.5 seconds of uptime for Internal Release (whereas a queued BfB can activate as soon as 0.2 seconds after IR), finally, macros themselves cannot be queued so if I say pop an OGCD before this macro of yours, I have to wait for the server confirmation that the previous skill has cast before I can cast the macro thus ballooning the time(e.g Kassatsu then your macro means I have to wait 0.5-1 second to even initiate the macro after Kassatsu)

Is that the only macro you use?
Using a macro will cancel the execution of a previous one, it doesn't matter if they have different commands.

They already stated that they don't use it in conjunction with any other macros.
