Basically what Freyyy said Sks affects Drks to a degree but not enough to warrant any kind of big change compared to Det and Crit I have 850 crit and 740 Det on my Drk with about 600ish sks I tried fitting more Sks and my dmg was lower than if I actually had the 60 det and 70 crit I was missing. On the page of Blood Weapon you need so much just to get 1 more GCD in Blood Weapon and that's sacrificing even more det and crit to meet that threshold.

Many are against it, but I don't know if it's a mental thing or what, but since I've been doing Skill Speed, I've increased my effectiveness as MT by a bunch. Currently, my PLD is:

    iLv: 226
    Crit: 648
    Skill Speed: 629

I also cannot go without Steamed Staff HQ, which gives...
    Crit (cap 40)
    Vit (cap 37)
    Skill Speed (cap 16)

That's just me, though, until I find something else that works better for me. I am comfortable and relaxed now, and it shows when I'm in groups.

I was doing Determination for a while, but...I don't know... It wasn't really working for me. I'll probably just have to try it again one day.

You realistically won't see much of a difference speed-wise as PLD when stacking SS, however as long as you don't run dry on TP you should see better results than Det for DPS. I stack Crit/SkS on my WAR, but that's largely because Equilibrium and TP-free Fell Cleave/Decimate/etc exist (unless, of course, the SkS piece doesn't have Crit).

Well the stat weights contradict this. Det > SkS for all 3 tanks. However, the difference between them is so ridiculously tiny that you won't notice any real difference in DPS anyway. As long as you're giving a priority to Crit while avoiding parry like plague, the second one isn't really important.

step 1, remove fracture, it's a major TP cost that over all gives you less DPS and might mess up your FOF combo with getting 2 COS and 2 GB in whilst it's active.
