BLM weapon choice

I recently got the Padjali rod last week from palace and am using it. I thought maybe I could meld it with spell speed instead of using the lore weapon that has more spell speed. I also am working on my 2nd relic to get black khan but the 230 is not so great. What weapon should I stick with until I get my 240? Also, is melding padjali good or a waste of time?

Either the lore staff With some spell speed
Or the horde staff from niddhogg are good filler until you got the relic

Agreed it's like having a Cute micro update of the hyperconductive
But for a Blm spellspeed is absolute king

Sure high crit and high deter mage can crit of 15500 but they lose all dps once they move

If you don't mind doing the required number of nidhogg ex runs then yes.

The Padjali rod is sadly not as good as the Lore weapon or Horde Rod (at least in my opinion). Your best bet for right now (at least until your get your 240 anima up and running) is the Lore weapon with Spell Speed socketed in or the Horde Rod with Crit socketed in! Good luck! ;D

Horde weapon, while i had just quickly glanced it seemed not all that great, if you have Lore Weapon that should suffice until you get Relic (if you do it)
Rod of the Black Khan is really good, and matches my glam better now, that along must be 50000 extra dps
The lore weapon i believe you can add 2 Quicktongue V's if memory serves, Ariyala's website would tell you for sure what can be melded

The lore weapon is great, especially with two level V Spell Speed materia's slotted. I'm happy with it, especially because I don't feel like doing the grind for the anima weapon.

If you don't go to raid alexander savage, either weapon is just fine because you don't have to optimize your gear if you don't raid.
