This matchmaking system is absolute crap, sorry. After hitting silver it feels like every damn match is a coin flip. Vast majority of matches are won by a landslide, based on who gets the most "novice" player in the most critical role. Even when I win, matches like that arent fun. And when I lose, its infuriating. An unranked player who lost zero rank, just there to practice or "try out" pvp , knocked me out of the top 100? hell yeah Im pissed. I try, really really hard, not to be a jerk. Because I learned a long time ago that spewing vitriol at fellow pvp'ers is counterproductive, but you better believe I'm pissed.

On top of that, this system is exploitable as hell. And its being exploited. "Feast Season Two: now we triple triad". Ok its not quite that bad. And hell, probably ALOT easier to be in the top 100 now than it was in S1. Still infuriating though how "the community" flips it's collective %#$ over a couple of guys from new Zealand (iirc) playing each other over and over in light party (pretty sure thats how most people hit plat in s1 LP anyhow... farm the same team over and over again), but hey, when established community members exploit the system to climb the solo queue rating board they get a free pass. "its not the players fault" for taking advantage of a bad system or whatever. Its crap and I really hope SE comes down on people. But not holding my breath.
