If your party is fighting within eyesight(we were one room apart, i could see his character model) I dont think anything needs said, when you queue up for a party you are expected to participate in said party. I shouldnt have to beg you to participate in content that you queue up for.

@Quince, but why you kick a player on the last floor (or 2nd last, doesn't matter)?
You're wasting a lot of time of such this player. And your answer is definitly not a argument to kick someone. Just if it doesnt match with your playstyle, doesn't mean you can kick everybody to waste their time.
I could kick every single dungeon at least one player, cause they are bad as hell. But as long as it works, i don't kick anybody. And if someone is really annoying, i'll kick him directly, and not at the end to waste as much time as possible. Cause that is definitly not fair.

And why you didn't communicate with him? Did you know that it is possible to write/chat with everybody in your group? Why kick before endboss, why not earlier?
Players like you should definitily deinstall this game, so you can't waste more of other players time.

I have gotten to the portal first on multiple runs and noticed that the other players markers are not moving. When this happens I will go and see what has happened as they may of hit a trap etc. It is common sense not to stay at the portal waiting and don't feel he had to say something. Also the OP said this is happening to him on a regular basis which makes me think it is more his problem than the other party members.

I am also going on that me and the other 3 members regularly split up on floors 1-30, but it also depends on the party set up sometimes it isn't possible on floor 21-30. I have never experienced the problem the OP is having and I am working on my 4th weapon. Only time I have seen kick coming in was on floor 41-50 but then when I explained they can force DC instead of abandoning/requesting kick before boss they stuck around and killed the boss instead.

Seeing the facts, i think party could have scolded him before kicking.
See, kicking its a last resource measure to deal with assholes.
Btw bt the party composition i think Op knew that with 2 dps and a tank they wasnt likely to wipe so he went on Journey. Thats mean... but efficient

Efficient until you do nothing and wait at portal for others to finish killing, then you just become lazy and a none team player.

There's a 4 hour cooldown on initiating a vote kick, so you're going to have issues kicking all of them.

I was a bard once 10-20 went off to solo clear half the map in the time it took for rest of the group to clear the other half. Whenever there's silver I wait for them to get there before opening and I opened all other chests and killed all mobs on my side.
They kicked me in room 18 without saying anything.

Yes I waited at the teleport place like twice instead of going to help because I did 50% of the map and the other 3 were at the other end. By the time I got there they would have finished anyway.

Bard doesn't get any support skills until like level 30, and even then what are you gonna do? You can't foe all the pulls in case you accidentally pull the whole room, you rarely need to mp song, and unless your group is going heavy aoe pulls you wont need tp song either. The only "support" in PotD that Bard can reliably do is swiftsong, which is actually pretty good if you swiftsong the manticore'd guy, but other than that can go off soloing.

That being said soloing does not mean kiting 2-3 mobs in a circle waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. It usually means being sneaky and checking side rooms for chests to save the group time. If op is going around aggroing everything then maybe there is an issue.

Ah. I keep forgetting how PoTD works. Still, is splitting from the group considered totally acceptable for DPS in PoTD?
