I think the responses I've been getting on this thread is self evidence of ignorance. Whether or not I was being a complete troll or being beneficial to the group; one of the other 3 people should have said in chat, "Hey please stick with us". Not a single word was said from anyone. I already mentioned that I conformed to their play style. They skipped many gold chests so I assumed they would skip the last one. It's against the spirit of the game to kick people unwarranted which I feel I have been multiple times; only for playing Bard to the best of my ability to the benefit of the group. If you choose to point the finger at me then so be it. I won't be in POTD anymore anyways because of the same ignoramuses on display in the latter posts.

EDIT: Updated OP. I did get a very nice response from SE on my ticket. I gave them the names of the 3 people who voted to kick me and the time it happened. SE will sort this out. I still won't be going back it because I'm tired of having my time wasted.

Sorry if spending 30 minutes on a set of floors that should take 10 minutes to clear that I've been farming for weeks now isn't fun for me. I wasn't disrupting their play or pulling trains on to them. What is wrong with you people.

I guess the rest of the people in this thread don't seem to realize that he WAS contributing if he was soloing rooms BY HIMSELF to help clear faster. If the party was unhappy with his play style, they should of spoke up on the first 9 FLOORS they had to do so. They didn't, which seems to me that the 3 of them queued together, didn't like the silver chest drops they got, and vote dismissed the guy they didn't queue with so they could leave and not get penalty.

If you're against a person soloing rooms to be more efficient and waste less time, you're probably the problem.

By the same token, shouldn't it be on the solo player to at least ask if the group is ok with splitting up?

So let me clarify this since I am the one who initiated the vote dismissal, our party make up was MNK MNK WAR BRD. First off he didn’t get kicked on 29 I kicked him at the end of 28 for the below reasons:
1) His “kiting” the mobs was him running ahead of the group and pulling 3-4 running them around in circles so the melee couldn’t damage them. After a while the melee would split up from him because what he was doing was asinine, and just slowing down the kill speed of mobs.
2) “We discover every room and the last room has a gold chest. So I run to the teleporter to room 30. They move on and clear the room the gold chest and next thing you know I’m kicked.” First once again its 28-29, but that’s beside the point. The last room was 4 mobs and a bronze chest which you had an equal chance to get a pot shard from as all of us, yet you sit back at the porter while we clear the room, the same thing you did for the last 3 floors. When you queue up for a group you are expected to at least help the group, it is not my responsibility to say “Why don’t you come help attack stuff.” If you are getting benefits from the mobs which you were, i.e. exp/chance of potshards you are expected to help and not sit there on the portal. If SE has a problem with me kicking somebody because of this then let them ban me. I stand by the kick and giving the responses in the thread I don’t think I’m alone.
@Seyarrr, we didn’t quit we finished the floors and kill speed actually increased without the mobs being pulled away from you, go figure. Also you are right we were unhappy with his play style but that had very do with the reason for kicking, if you are just standing at the portal for 3 floors while the rest of the team Is still attacking, I shouldn’t have to beg for you to do your part. Giving his response to the thread even if I had said something I’m sure the “It’s my 15$ a month I play how I want” attitude he seems to have would have come out.

You completely ignored everything I said. If 3 people are unhappy, they should of said to the 1 person, "hey, could you stay with the group?" The fact that they waited until floor x9 is evidence enough that they didn\\'t get what they wanted from the dungeon so they kicked to remove the chance of them getting a penalty for leaving. It\\'s not a hard concept to figure out. If they were legitimately unhappy with his play style, they would of said something, or voted to kick waaaaay earlier.

If the solo player was contributing and not dying AND making the runs FASTER, then no, it isn\\'t on him to tell the group. If he isn\\'t wiping, or messing up, or making things harder, there is no reason to kick him without saying a single word.

Well you let me know where it says on vote dismiss where it says: "Does not match party's play style". I guess I should kick every scrub in Weeping City who doesn't follow mechanics or every healer who doesn't DPS in between heals because they don't match my play style either. C'mon, man. Not to mention, if they had a problem with the way I was playing, you'd think they wouldn't says something on the previous 9 floors.

Doesn't matter. Yoshi P himself has said that's a valid reason. You wanna take it up with him? I have kicked plenty of people for doing things like that. You say you didn't cause any deaths. But 2 or 3 people fighting a room of mobs can often mean a healer has to stop dps'ing to keep people up, or people just have a harder time with the rooms in general.

Not everything is about whether or not it causes a wipe. Especially in braindead content. I'm still in shock at how many people manage to do it so poorly though. It's about what's efficient vs not efficient.

Semi-related; people need to understand it doesn't take 3 votes. In 4-man content, it takes the initiator plus only one other yes vote. Obviously the person being voted out doesn't get a vote so it's about the opinions of 3 people, and 2-1 is a majority.
