Server's down?!?!

I haven't been able to connect since Friday afternoon, is anyone else getting error 130001 error code: 0 Lobby server timed out?

It's showing that your server is up and running and I didn't see anything about your server being down in the Information section of the forums.

I did some reading up on what you can try doing.

1: Contact (Square Enix) you can do this on the homepage.

2: Clear out your cookie,cash,temp files.

3: You could try installing the game again but I wouldn't do that until you have tryed all of the above.

4: Make sure you haven't change any of your internet options.

Can you login at all as in are you getting the chance to enter in your username and password?

Thanks for the info. I had posted on the tech support page but got no response. As it currently stands I've cleared my cache, temp files and cookies to no avail, I've also reinstalled the game and that didn't work. There's been no changes to my pc since friday afternoon when i was still able to log on until now other than powering down and back up.
I'm able to get into the "game" itself but as soon as I get to what would be the character select screen it times out

Did you by any chance get disconnected from the game thurs or friday and not log back in after and now your having problems?

The reason I ask is because the servers might believe your still logged in perhapes I'm just taking a guess but this kind of sounds like something that happens to me sometimes when I get disconnected for some reason.

I continue to get the loading screen then timed out. I never even see my character listing.
I just found out my brother is getting the exact same problem. Makes me even me more curious because I was thinking it's maybe a provider error but we both use 2 different internet providers.

I hate to ask this but have you turned off your computer? Or even turned off your router?

Try turning them both off and then unpluging them for 5 or 10 min and then powering it all back up and see what happens.

Also are play wireless or are you plugged in?
