    Make a macro for your WS and in stead of <t> place <st> this will allow you to select the target instead of it just exicuting the weaponskill automatically...

    Liniont,

    all of your soultions are great, but it doesn't solve the issue when you want to target a mob that is to the left or right of you, when there are monsters that are more midline yet further away get priority targeting rather then the ones that happen to be closer, but more lateral (to the side)

    Like my OP diagram shows:

    |-------o-----------------------------|
    ----|------------------o----------|
    ------|-----o-------------o-----|
    ---------|-------o------o-----|
    ------------|----o---A----|
    ---------------|---o--|
    -----------------|X|

    you are "X" now under current target priority target "A"

    <left to right>

    |-------1-----------------------------|
    ----|------------------7----------|
    ------|-----2-------------9-----|
    ---------|-------4------8-----|
    ------------|----3--6A----|
    ---------------|---6--|
    -----------------|X|

    <right to left>

    |-------9-----------------------------|
    ----|------------------3----------|
    ------|-----8-------------1-----|
    ---------|-------7------2-----|
    ------------|----6--4A----|
    ---------------|---5--|
    -----------------|X|

    Now if they made it so closer targets get priority over further targets it woudl look like this:

    <left to right>

    |-------9-----------------------------|
    ----|------------------8----------|
    ------|-----6-------------7-----|
    ---------|-------4------5-----|
    ------------|----2--3A----|
    ---------------|---1--|
    -----------------|X|

    <right to left>

    |-------9-----------------------------|
    ----|------------------8----------|
    ------|-----7-------------6-----|
    ---------|-------5------4-----|
    ------------|----3--2A----|
    ---------------|---1--|
    -----------------|X|

    There should be an option to allow target priority to be set from closest to furthest. There are too many times when frustrations arise because you target something that is 1)too far away to attack, or 2) seeming behind your intented target because the mob just happened to be more midline to your cameras angle.

    So under default target settings it takes either 4 or 6 cycled targets to select the intended target.

    Under adjusted priority targeting it would take 2 or 3 cycled targets.

    Yes, it would take more cycled targets to reach something further out, since 4 of 7 jobs are melee and deal with mobs at a close range, it would make sense to have an option to have target priority closest to furthest!

    I'll have to check when i get off from work but if i remeber correctly my target enemy and target engaged enemy all start with my nearest also there is an option for target nearest in the keyboard config menu that isn't set to any keys it's more of an option. I'll do some investigating when i get home

    Also i gave you a solution for the melee classes i have no problems targeting and i have a tank and dps as my main so try my set up and see if it works for ya because its the most efficient set up i could calculate after studying the system
