So, let's see here. You're upset that a cage holding fireflies doesn't hold birds. Why, exactly? What part of anything implied it was a bird cage? It's a cage of fireflies. That's your own problem with expectations. Fireflies aren't meant to be a brilliant lantern. They are exactly little bits of light that you might barely see. So, this is you being upset that something wasn't designed specifically for you.

Then you're upset that the armor isn't summer themed, informed sentai events are popular in summer, and continue to complain that it doesn't fit your idea of summer themed. Again, just whining that the event doesn't cater specifically to you.

Fortunately, the game never has to do that, and is free to be creative and fun with its events. You can stop being an entitled brat now.

Go back to my 1st post, I never said this was anyone else's opinion, only mine, if ya don't like it, move on! And yes, I'm upset, its a stupid event that they threw at us, by hiding the fact that the real event items were put on the MogStation. SE trying to make more money off a subscription based game. #goodjobnotseeingthebiggerpicture

It's a thing people recognize as am event that appears during summer festivals. It's not specifically for the demographic the events are aimed at IRL.
Yes I do primarily mean Japanese people, but hey, it's a Japanese game.

Its not a Japanese game, it's a game made by an Japanese/American company, since SE is a world wide brand now and has a group in America. This is an event made for an MMORPG (Massive multiplayer online roleplaying game). Not an JOORPG (Japanese only online roleplaying game.) Look up reddit on this topic, lots of peeps wanted the summer swimsuits or at least a reward that was summer clothing themed. This was a fail event, sorry you cant see that.

HOLY MOLEY!!!!!!!!!!!! you aced the detective work!!!!!!!!!!! you were able to pull the event page and find the info we all already know! GOLD F'n STAR!!! Note please that that is a SE run site, and they wont come out and say "Hey guys... sorry we F'd this event up! Our bad!" At the end of the day, I said in my original post that this was my opinion, not everyone else's, and thankfully peeps on Reddit can see the same things I can. You guys are some crazy loyal fan boys! Hope SE hooks ya up!

Yeah, I dug those things up, because I was looking for confirmation of what you said. But since you edited it to just continue complaining, I see no reason to continue. Actually I did the right thing, and confirmed myself that it didn't say birdcage, and thus the edit, I don't lie on here. I'm here only to spread the topic of how terrible this event idea and execution is, because it's straight bad. And, I'm glad you're moving on, like I asked from the beginning.

Here's another point a lot of peeps miss: Last year's event had swimsuits, but new ones, AND you could buy with the event items, the previous year's swimsuits as well! This current event took away all aspects of the "SUMMER" theme, gave us a theme based off a young Japanese kid demographic, AND didn't even give new players any way to purchase old swimsuits from the last 2 seasons, like they did last year! THAT is a complete rip-off! The reason behind this, is because they put all those swimsuits (male/female) on the MogStation to siphon more cash from us, not realizing that new peeps would be missing out on the FREE swimsuits we all got to enjoy before. This is a terrible event that is chin deep in a terrible business practice. Am I upset at this, yes, as well as annoyed. As should you all.
