Please make mobs "Invulnerable" until they enter FATE zone. [Request]

There are some FATEs where mobs spawn outside of the FATE zone. They run into the FATE zone.

But these mobs can still be targeted by spells and ranged attacks.
This means that some players (Ranged), but not others (melee), inside the FATE zone can kill mobs before they reach the FATE zone.

This is problematic in the Youkai Watch event. I am trying to level some classes and do this event at the same time. The classes I am trying to level, do not have any ranged attacks in the early levels.

When I enter the FATE zone, there are many other people there who do have ranged attacks. They are able to kill all of the FATE monsters while standing inside the zone, before the monsters reach the zone. Melee without any ranged attacks (especially due to level sync) have no chance at getting any credit for these FATES.

Often, us melee cannot leave the FATE zone because we will lose level sync. We just stand on the edge, hoping one of two mobs can reach us before it is killed.

Is there any way to make mobs "Invulnerable" before they reach the FATE zone so everyone has an equal opportunity to get credit?

I agree. Also, what would be useful would be either a warning about leaving the FATE zone before dropping level sync or a visible marker on the ground that appears as soon as you sync down so you know when you're about to leave.

That is one of them, yes.
There are a few others too. Maybe one with raptors, if I remember correctly.

If they can't make them invulnerable until they enter the FATE zone, they should at least change the spawn locations.

I'd rather just see more leniency in the FATE domain size or how quickly you're detached from the FATE.

At worse case, have them spawn closer into the FATE area.

The original idea the only thing I don't like about is the fact that in many HW zones, fate enemies spawn in a singular cluster outside the fate, but fan out as they approach the fate region (Those damned Dragonfly mobs in Churning Mists FATE in Landlord Colony, or the Dinosaurs FATE near Moghome).

So it's actually desirable from AOE stand-point of standing on the spawn point outside the fate region to AOE them all together as they spawn. By the time they've reached the fate area they are too spread out and that adds considerable time to clear.

So I agree more with that second option more-so than the first, expand the fate region to include the spawn locations.

This, so much this, since I run these on my bard. I can't tell you how many times I've Repelling Shot myself outside the FATE zone since I didn't realize how close to leaving I was.
