[REQUEST] Making MB selling fairer (in some way)

I wish they would add a listing fee to the system. If you want to pull down your item to adjust the price, sure, no problem! But you'll have to pay to list it again.

This is very true, I recall very early on in Closed Beta (or might have been just after release) people were selling Orange Juice for like 1k a piece near the dye quest.

I get what your saying. Even this form of rip off is unacceptable to me, it's just wrong. Even if it's not 'persay' a mb comment. Like as if we need to be 'that technical' on a forum.

Thanks for the link & response very informative & constructive! Still makes me a little curious though, like how much is sitting in this virtual 'sink' on any given day, does anyone or gm's get some of this since gm's control it? because I don't think there is any way a npc would need this much to pay out to people that are selling to them.

I'm 99% sure Rowena controls all gil sink funds. She probably swims in her gil, Scrooge McDuck style.

Lol! Well there you have it folks if you need Gil go to Rowena and ask, she apparently is the richest gal in the game! Funniest thing I was looking at my trophies on psn noticed that I wasn't quite finished with ducktales remastered on PS3 thought about loading up the old system to finish those up, lol.

Ok so just a crazy spur of the moment ideas I had to eliminate the whole "pay to win" retainer argument. Remove the ability for retainers to sell stuff and add a tab on the market board menu for us to sell stuff to the market board. (Also player bazaars need to come back)

Not sure about you, but I wouldn't want to be indebted to her. Have you seen how she treats her girls? I'll continue milking the MB and giving her my taxes.

So then it becomes better to undercut cause now most players won't relist while the rich can afford to blow money to relist to outsell your items.

Thank you for posting this! I don't get it either this is partly what I was talking about in my original post. Maybe he/she thinks the market will suddenly change if he/she keeps going that low.

They are just pulling the price right down, they will then buy up all the cheap stock and eventually relist it for 30k. Some people play the market to make gil and if they have the patience and a good eye then good on them.
