Possible ban?

So, I was in a FC and I used their company credits to buy the portraits and I left. I know that's bad move but I honestly just wanted to see what they looked like in portrait form. Today, one of the members whispered me and said that they will have me banned/reported because of me "robbing" them. My theory is that the FC leader is at fault for not regulating what certain ranks can do in the FC. I was the lowest rank and I could add/move furniture and all that good stuff. I have been in many other FC that would only let the low ranks just feed the chocobos or tend to the plants.

Can't get banned. Leader's fault for not setting up rank right. However, it'll just make you look bad to everyone else if you're okay with that since they'll just say things to others about you.

Stealing gil and whatever in the Fc chest and running away won't get you banned or anything. After all, many will say that it's the leader's fault for being so trusting. /s

Um, no. I am just looking for other people's insight if I will be banned or not. You must not really get it, I am not looking for sympathy, just answers.

You won't be banned.

The portraits are pretty cheap. I suppose it depends upon the size of the FC but I know with ours, spending FC credits for housing items, is usually something we ask people to talk to the leader about.

It was a rank 8 FC with over 800k credits.

If you are going to do something that you're unsure constitutes a ban why would you do it in the 1st place? You'll get your answer if you can't log on one day, and get an email from Squeenix (I assume). I'm guessing you posting here admitting you did it won't help your case much either.

SE didn't e-mail me about one of my suspensions til' like 2 weeks later. I don't have time to wait that long.
