So, I was in a FC and I used their company credits to buy the portraits and I left. I know that's bad move but I honestly just wanted to see what they looked like in portrait form. Today, one of the members whispered me and said that they will have me banned/reported because of me "robbing" them. My theory is that the FC leader is at fault for not regulating what certain ranks can do in the FC. I was the lowest rank and I could add/move furniture and all that good stuff. I have been in many other FC that would only let the low ranks just feed the chocobos or tend to the plants.

Considering you did this and show no remorse, you probably won't get many FC offers for places to hang out... As for being banned, he could prob get you a temp ban if he tries hard enough.

Members of an FC are allowed to take the items (or in this case credits) that are offered to them for that purpose. Taking stuff that's been offered that way could only be regarded as stealing in the most extreme of cases (generally involving wiping out everything you can get and leaving nothing for anyone else, which if it was accurately described isn't the case here). Simply taking a picture from your FCs credits that's designed to be gotten by using your FCs credits certainly falls under allowable use.

As long as you STAY part of the FC. Taking it and dropping the shell isn't allowable use, it's a grab and flee.

I have had a FC some time ago. All Members have had the permission to buy things with Company Credits. So, if that would have happened in my FC, I couldn't have cared less. Point is, I as the leader was setting the permissions for FC Members....
In my opnion it's not stealing. He simple was allowed to buy things with FC credits.
